Prostate Enlargement (BPH):Modern Medicine Vs. Alternative Cure?

bph3

Prostate gland enlargement is almost regarded as a part of ageing process for men above 50 years of age.

But another school of thaught suggests that prostate enlargement actually may also have a lot to do with ormones. It is your body mistaking your hormones for the infection and therefore causes massive inflammation in your body leading to pain ,enlarged prostate, frequent urination, even hair loss and ED.

Once you are able to tackle the root cause of infection, you will be able to have  full control of your bladder and other symptoms associated with it.

Modern Medicine:

As per the modern medicine or western medicine protocol if a man is diagnosed with enlarged prostate, in all likelihood he will be treated with a type of drug called a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor (5-ARI).

These drugs shrink the gland to improve urinary flow (but with significant side effects..we will talk about that in a bit).(**A)

According to a recent study..

However, a side effect of 5-ARI inhibitor treatmentor inhibitor protocol is that it suppresses blood levels of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) by about 50%.

That means further complications and more serious ones.

The reishi mushroom, also known by the botanical name ,  Ganoderma lucidum and lingzhi, is actually a fungus that grows in a  hot and humid  climate manily in Asia.

According to various  studies , reishi mushrooms can positively affect the genes in white blood cells.

We all know that white blood cells are one of the mose critical part of our immune system.

What’s more, these studies have found: (trusted source:https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20574926/)

"that some forms of reishi may alter inflammation pathways in white blood cells.

Research in cancer patients has shown that some of the molecules found in the mushroom can increase the activity of a type of white blood cell called natural killer cells.Natural killer cells fight infections and cancer in the body.

Another study found that reishi can increase the number of other white blood cells (lymphocytes) in those with colorectal cancer. (*9)

Many people consume this fungus due to its potential cancer-fighting properties .
In fact, one study of over 4,000 breast cancer survivors found that around 59% consumed reishi mushroom .
